In order to complete OPITO Emergency Coordinator for Renewable Energy (Wind), delegates must hold:
    - A valid OPITO-approved certificate for Control of Work Training for Performing Authorities (Initial or Refresher Training)

    OR

    - Verifiable evidence of their PA experience

- Maintain communications and coordinate the response to emergencies

  • Certification: An OPITO certificate will be issued upon successful course completion.
  • Certificate validity (months): 36
  • Target audience: Personnel who have been deemed ready by their employer to be formally assessed in the role of an Emergency Coordinator during an emergency situation. They must have completed all relevant company specific training and should be employed within the renewable industry.
  • Revalidation: The course must be revalidated every 3 years.
  • Items to bring: Government Issued Photographic ID eg Driver Licence or Passport.
  • Health prerequisites: Due to certain aspects of the course being potentially physically demanding and/or stressful, delegates will be required to confirm their medical fitness & physical ability to participate on this course by completing our centre medical self-screening form prior to course commencement.
