Course Overview

This medical examination is one of the prerequisites necessary before an individual can work offshore. Medical examinations are completed by OEUK registered doctors and cover a range of topics which are essential under OEUK medical requirements. The aim of the OEUK medical is to set a standard of fitness for those working in the UK offshore sector and North Sea. Included within this medical examination is alcohol testing and a 6-part drug screen.

The aim of the OGUK medical is to set a standard of fitness for those working in the UK offshore sector and North Sea. Included within this medical examination is alcohol testing and a 6-part drug screen.

  • Certification: An OEUK Medical Certificate will be issued on successful completion of the examination
  • Certificate validity (months): 24
  • Revalidation: This medical is required to be refreshed every 2 years (unless otherwise detailed)
  • Items to bring: Government Issued Photographic ID eg Driver Licence or Passport Please attend your appointment at least 15 minutes in advance of your scheduled appointment time
  • Health prerequisites: Due to certain aspects of the course being potentially physically demanding and/or stressful, delegates will be required to confirm their medical fitness & physical ability to participate on this course by completing our centre medical self-screening form prior to course commencement
