IPAF MEWP provides the skills and knowledge to prepare and safely operate various types of MEWPs including a scissor lift and cherry picker.

In order to complete IPAF (Mobile Elevated Work Platform Training), delegates must hold:

Due to certain aspects of the course being potentially physically demanding and/or stressful, delegates will be required to confirm their medical fitness & physical ability to participate on this course by completing our centre medical self-screening form prior to course commencement
Course Content
- Understand and correctly select different types of MEWP- Inspect the machine
- Route plan and maneuver with consideration of hazards
- Set up and safely use MEWPs in accordance with the manufactures guidelines and Work at Height act
- Pass the theory and practical tests

- Certification: An IPAF certificate will be issued upon successful completion
- Certificate validity (months): 60
- Target audience: Operatives who use Mobile Elevated Work Platforms (MEWP) in the workplace
- Revalidation: The course must be revalidated every 5 years.
- Items to bring: Delegates must bring Work Boots and Government Issued Photographic ID eg Driver Licence or Passport.
- Health prerequisites: Due to certain aspects of the course being potentially physically demanding and/or stressful, delegates will be required to confirm their medical fitness & physical ability to participate on this course by completing our centre medical self-screening form prior to course commencement
