Course Overview

ECITB Working at Height involves working at height in a variety of environments.

Delegates will experience working at height in environments including telecoms and construction.

The equipment used during the training course carries a weight limit of 136-140kg. For participants this maximum weight includes clothes and safety equipment, we therefore recommend a maximum bodyweight of 120kg. Our equipment also has a maximum waist size of 120cm.

Course Structure

ECITB Working at Height is an exciting training programme for those whose role involves working above ground level. Delegates will gain practical skills and knowledge of working at height in a variety of environments.

Course Content

Delegates completing this training course will;
- Understand legislation and equipment standards
- Learn the correct practical use of PPE
- Gain knowledge of different PPE purposes

  • Certification: An ECITB certificate will be issued upon successful completion.
  • Certificate validity (months): 36
  • Target audience: Anyone involved in working above ground level.
  • Revalidation: The course must be revalidated every 3 years.
  • Items to bring: Government Issued Photographic ID eg Driver Licence or Passport.
  • Health prerequisites: Due to certain aspects of the course being potentially physically demanding and/or stressful, delegates will be required to confirm their medical fitness & physical ability to participate on this course by completing our centre medical self-screening form prior to course commencement.
