Course Overview
This technical test is aimed at both onshore and offshore fabric maintenance personnel who may be required to complete a "trade test" before their employment has started / approved or those who have no training evidence but have been in the industry for a long period of time can complete this assessment to demonstrate competence.
The assessment consists of a three hour practical test and a one hour knowledge test. Delegates must pass the knowledge test before progressing to the practical element.

Due to certain aspects of the course being potentially physically demanding and/or stressful, delegates will be required to confirm their medical fitness & physical ability to participate on this course by completing our centre medical self-screening form prior to course commencement
Course Content
By the end of this training programme delegates will be able to;- Correctly select equipment Undertake all necessary checks to ensure all equipment is ready to use
- Ensure there is no dust debris contamination on the prepared mid steel test plate
- Apply industrial coating in a safe and efficient manner
- Monitor and recode environmental conditions throughout application

- Certification: An ECITB certificate will be issued upon successful completion
- Certificate validity (months): 36
- Target audience: Those required to complete a trade test before employment is offered or begins
- Revalidation: The assessment must be revalidated every 3 years.
- Items to bring: Government Issued Photographic ID eg Driver Licence or Passport. Delegates are required to bring steel toe cap safety boots.
