This course covers primarily enclosed and potentially hazardous working environments. Delegates will learn to identify risks and implement suitable and sufficient control measures when gaining entry to high risk confined spaces.

In order to complete ECITB High Risk Confined Space, delegates must hold:
    Due to certain aspects of the course being potentially physically demanding and/or stressful, delegates will be required to confirm their medical fitness & physical ability to participate on this course by completing our centre medical self-screening form prior to course commencement

Course Content

The ECITB High Risk Confined Space course covers primarily enclosed and potentially hazardous working environments.

Delegates will learn to identify risks and implement suitable and sufficient control measures when gaining entry to high risk confined spaces.

More information

  • Certification: An ECITB certificate will be issued upon successful completion
  • Certificate validity (months): 36
  • Target audience: Personnel nominated to work in confined spaces where work has been classified as high risk (NC4) - these spaces are primarily enclosed and are a potential hazardous working environment where self-contained breathing apparatus is to be worn
  • Revalidation: The course must be revalidated every 3 years.
  • Items to bring: Government Issued Photographic ID eg Driver Licence or Passport
  • Health prerequisites: Due to certain aspects of the course being potentially physically demanding and/or stressful, delegates will be required to confirm their medical fitness & physical ability to participate on this course by completing our centre medical self-screening form prior to course commencement
